Is my heat pump supported?
Numea Home works with most heat pumps that have a wired outdoor sensor.
The outdoor sensor is a small box on an outside wall. A thin cable runs from it to the heat pump.

Heat for the room. Not for the weather.
Your heat pump knows how cold it is outside, not how warm it is inside.
The film shows what Numea Home does with your heat pump, and why.
The controller sits between the heat pump and its outdoor sensor.
The thermostat reads the room. The controller adjusts what the pump believes the outdoor temperature is, so the pump heats to the room instead of to a curve someone set years ago.
We are looking for beta testers.
Install Numea Home in your home and help us shape the finished product – the installation, the thermostat and everything in between.
- You borrow Numea Home at no cost.
- At least four weeks. You can stop whenever you want.
- Afterwards we collect it and restore your heat pump.
Wireless, without a server.
Numea Home works without a server, an account or an internet connection. The thermostat and the controller talk directly to each other, in your home.

The thermostat
Battery powered, with a screen. This is where you set the temperature you want.

The controller
Two wires to the heat pump’s outdoor sensor. The controller can step out of the circuit at any moment and leave the pump exactly as it was.
Smart features when you want them.
Schedule
Cooler at night, warm by morning. Set a daily or weekly schedule and adjust the temperatures on the thermostat.
A chart of one day. The room stays at 21.5° by day and 19.5° between 22 and 06.
Away mode
Turn the heat down when you travel. Say when you will be home, and the house is warm again when you walk in.
A chart of four days. The room stays at 21.5°. When you leave on Friday it drops to 15°. On Sunday the house warms up again and is at 21.5° when you come home.
Electricity-price steering
If you want: the house heats a little more when power is cheap and a little less when it is expensive, without the room drifting from your temperature.
The only function that needs the internet.
A chart of one day. Bars show the electricity price hour by hour, with a peak in the morning and one in the evening. Just before each peak the room is heated to 22°. While the price is high it falls steadily to 21°. Then it is quickly back at 21.5°.
Easy installation
You install it yourself, in about 30 minutes.
The controller connects to the cable to the heat pump’s outdoor sensor. A guide on your phone takes you through each step.

Two ways to use Numea Home.
On its own
The thermostat and the controller talk directly to each other. You need nothing else.
With Home Assistant
Numea Home can join your own Zigbee network. You then see the room temperature and set the heat from Home Assistant, like everything else in your home.
We are also working on support for Matter and Thread.
The film shows both ways.
